Default Cam sensor Bad

Anyone ever change a cam sensor on a 2007 A6 3.2L? Check engine light threw code P0319. Pretty sure it is a cam position sensor on bank b. I think thats the drivers side. Sure could use a confidence booster before I tear in to it.

P0319 is the DTC for a rough road sensor, which measures the up and down motion of the front wheels. It is used to control auto transmission response to road condition, and has nothing to do with the cam position sensor.

this. I'm pretty sure that this code means that the sensor is bad, or at least continuity to the sensor is bad

good luck

Default Question on cam sensor

z28Pete
Thanks for the reply on the thread. If it was a rough road sensor, do you know what might be causing a very rough idle?
