I have one. It will work like a charm as long as you follow the instructions on the Ross Tech website. You HAVE to install the serial to USB driver.

 

But it will not work with newer CAN bus vehicles (2005 A6 and newer) and it is unsupported by the makes of the VAG-COM software. Version 409 is out of date. If you want the real deal go to the Ross-Tech website and purchase from them. You will get the latest software and if you have any questions they are very good about answering them.

I do not work for Ross Tech, I am just a very satisfied customer who hates to see people's hard work pirated by cheap Chinese knockoffs.
