I have had the car for about and year and the vag-com/auto check system display has never worked. I know these things commonly stop working so i wasnt really worried about it. Well the other day i started my car and the vagcom display turned on! It looks like its missing some lights on the display as all of the words are not easily read. I was wondering if anyone had herd or this or had past expeirence. I also wanted to know if anything can be done to fix these or do i have to buy a new one....

Today i started my car and it isnt on at all....i don't get this thing.

 

By Vag-Com, do you mean the software+interface that Ross-Tech sells or are you talking about the Drivers Information System (DIS, the LCD screen between the Tach and Speedo)??

I meant the display i was unsure of what the actual name was, but i am talking about the display between the speedo and tach.

 

You are not the only one. I read a lot about this problem, but still the only solution to change all the display
