Default Vibration fixed!!

Hey all,

I was having a worsening vibration problem that I couldnt figure out for a while (since I bought the car a month ago) and it turned out to just be abnormal wear in the tires! I got them replaced today and WOW its like I got a new car! And, oddly, it fixed a couple other issues I was having. One was whenever I decelerated, if I was coasting the engine would rev irregularly, like a bobber (make sense?). The other problem (that I didnt know was a problem at the time) was that my tip would shift WAY too soon. Its actually going quite a bit higher in the rev range before switching gears itself. I have NO clue why tires effected these things, but MAN its fantastic.

not that anyone cares, but im happy!

Well, I just got back from a very exciting drive!!! I noticed that when I breaked the viberation is terrible and now my suspension is creaking and crackling. Also there is now the breaks squeek. It was not all from tonight, but it got worse. I am honestly thinking its a warped rotor? I think I am going to try to get new rotors and pads and see what happens. I am really worried because my suspension is being torn to crap. What need to be replaced becides the breaks?

Slurm -- I'm not suprised that new tires fixed some of your problems. I had a Hyundai Sonata that had a horrible vibration. We balanced tires, changed rims, changed tires (one at a time) and could not make the vibration go away so I gave up. When it came time to get new tires I replaced all four and the ride was near perfect. Bottom line - some tires just don't work with some cars.
