Weird Gas problem

Weird Gas problem

Everytime I stop to put gas in my A6 98 and I open the gas tank the car shuts off, and i have to give it gas for it to start, even if I shut the car off before I pump I have to give it gas to start. What is going on?

sounds liek a pressure / pump issue to me

you should always shut the car off when you pump because its bad for the car and you could blow up

Id get it diagnosed before you go replacing anything ...I am not atech in anyway ive just been around these audis for about 6 years now and i know how to get an idea on what to troubleshoot lol
