Default Weird warning lights

My 2001 A6 2.7t is intermittently throwing an ABS/ ESP light. This only happens when the ambient temp is above 80F. If I pull over and turn off, then back on the ignition the problem is usually cleared. The lights only come at about 20MPH, which is when the ABS unit does it's second systems check (one on startup, one at speed). Could this just be caused by a faulty brake sensor on one of the corners. Any Ideas?

Thanks

My ESP would randomly come on while driving and sometimes the ABS light would come on aswell.

Mine come on together, and like I originally posted, only at about 20mph which is when our cars brain performs its secondary ABS checkup. I will investigate further, but I am already running the Hitachi MAF.

If you do some google searches, there are companies that will repair your ABS unit for a ton less than a new one. I sent mine out and they couldn't find anything wrong, but when it was re-installed it worked fine (warning light was now out). You can pull the ABS and still drive the car - you just don't have the ABS safety feature any longer.
