Curious to know what everyone thinks of the 2009 Supercharged A6 3.0T?
I've been enjoying mine so far. No real complaints or problems thus far at only 5K miles. Love it? Hate it? or somewhere in between? Anyone experience any problems or have any issues with it yet. This is my first Audi so wondering what I got myself into I've read so many threads about problems with the older A6's and am hoping this one will be different in the long run. I'm planning on keeping this for the long haul. Thanks to all. Regards.

 

Performance wise, I think it offers a pretty good sport/economy compromise. I still think that the A6 needs a little more aggresive face like the A5 and the A4 now have. I think you will find it to be a great car. Consumer reports has it as a best bet. I think the negative perspective comes from people who are not used to the added maintenance of the european automobiles. They are not Toyotas, but who cares. If you wanted a Toyota you would have bought one of those Lexus GSs and been lulled to sleep in your car. Some people see isolation and silence as perfection, I see road manners, visceral thrill and other intangibles in my version of perfection. So far, and I am only 7,000 miles in myself on my 2.7TT, I am willing to say that this is probably the best car I have ever owned. I wish they were easier to maintain, but if I had to go without the fun I would rather have the maintenance. Sounds like a great car. I hope it brings you many happy years of good fun.

 

I don't know if you noticed, but 98% of folks on the forums have older model vehicles. Thats pretty much the whole point of forums. I believe you are the only member on the website with a 2009 3.0T, well, the only one that has posted anyway.
I worked on the A6 up until the 07 model, and i really haven't seen anything wrong with them, since your car is still new, no one can comment on the reliability of your vehicle.

I have a 2008 A6, I wanted to wait for the 09 but would not resist the $10000 discount plus the 0.9 APR at that time. The A6 is a great car with a good combination of handling and comfort. The best interior in its class in my opinion.

 

I haven't drove one, but the subtle changes on the fascia definitely makes the car look better than the 08. Before 09 I was eyeing 535xit, but now I am back looking at A6 Avant. Just a dream...
