Remove engine. Replace with 2.7T.

Remove transmission. Replace with six speed.

Chip it. Done.

Alternatively, remove the engine and put an RS6 engine in there.

Otherwise, there's just about nothing you can do. Rumors of a supercharger have been bouncing around, but I've not seen anything defnitive yet.

Because of the natural aspiration of the 4.2, there's not a lot of extra HP to be had.

 

thats a LOT of work, but hes got good points there. its a pretty powerfull motor, but weight kills the car's speed. theres not much u can do to lose weight short of yanking the motor itself out. u can do a chip, exhaust, intake, smaller things like that will boost performance. if you want to go quick, maybe swap to an S4 if you can

launch the car and as soon as your revving above 3k spray and you should instantly be at 60


either that or you can fit a STS turbo kit to the car... i have heard alot of great things about the STS kits

 

My car is well under the 6 sec range but I think that may not be the route for you to go (click on vid in sig) But you can start with a good exhaust, Then the electric fan kit has been popular with sever other people with the 4.2. After that look into the tip chip that will be a big help in the trans shifting
