Default What's the deal...

with my power lock button. When I press the power lock button on the inside of the driver's side door all doors lock except the driver's side. It seems as if the lock only goes down half way and the interior light remains on. Now that I said that. Could it be possible that once the interior lights go out it locks fully?
Or is my lock mechanism jammed?

Thanks

E

i belive itsa safety feature that alot of cars have since 1999, it helps people like me not lock there keys in the car . as far as in the audi i dont know , but in my honda if you hold out the door handle on the inside and hit the lock button it should lock your door

If the door locks fine with the key outside the vehicle, but it doesn't lock when your inside the car its probably how the central locking module is coded, you can probably change it, how i don't know.

Good stuff, thanks guys. Figgy, I'll try the handle advice tomorrow and see if I have any luck. It's not a big deal but I need something to occupy my mind...LOL.
