What's that? Rubber hose with a bolt on it around coolant tank area
Hi, I accidentally found a rubber hose with a bolt on it, hanging free around the coolant tank area. The other side appears to go into the firewall. I amjust wondering what that baby is and where should it go? It's a 2000 A6 2.7t Tip. Thank you very much! I pulled it out a little bit and took a picture, as attached. Here is also what appears to be one the hose. I can't find the part based on the number though (because of wrong part number originally, infoadded later).

If it comes out of the bottom of the reservoir its a drain hose for the overflow in case the car overheats. If it were a coolant hose it would be puking coolant all over the place.
