wheel change

just wondering about wheel changes can i fit 4.2 V8 wheels to 2.4 V6
V8 wheels are 18x7.5
V6 wheels are 16x7 are ther any clearance issues and will thet protude past the fender edge theV8 looks like it has bigger flares
