Default Window problems- Help

I can only get my drivers side widow up half way, any suggestions what can be wrong? Is it easy taking off the door panel to fix this problem? What do you think is wrong?

there was someone else here looking to buy an a6 that has the same problem....i believe someone narrowed it down to window guides being the culprit, heres a link they posted for them http://forums.audiworld.com/a6/msgs/791469.phtml and the link to the whole thread from the other guy https://www.audiforums.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=109776

Replacing guides is pretty simple. You need 2 guides, screw drivers, triple square bits, and some grease. Here is a DIY.

I had the same problem with my A6 and had it addressed last wekeend - it was the window guides. You can pickup a pair from the dealer ($8/each) and install it in an afternoon. Should fix you right up.
