Windshield Wipers
 

Forgive me if this is against any rules or if this is an extremely stupid question (because I am sure that it is). I own a 2002 Audi A6 Quattro 3.0. I am in need of a new windshield wiper for the drivers side windshield, but the ones I have bought that I was told were right didn't fit. I even tried calling the Audi customer line, and they told me that I needed to go to a dealership which is over an hour away from where I am. Can someone help me out here? Thanks!

I think the problem you ran into is that on the C5 model Audi has used 2 different wiper blade systems that are not compatible with each other (without a conversion kit). On my C5 I had a simple OE hook arm type. However there are several cars out there that have been converted or upgraded to the aero style blades and the arm is different.
The easiest would be to post a picture of your wiper arm (or current blade) connector to see how it looks like. From what I've heard you either have a simple hook which would require these kind of blades/connectors:
