yep, i love my audi
Story time.. go get milk and a cookie.
so, i was driving on I70 in the mountains of CO and it was snowing like a mother... I pull over after the Eisenhower Tunnel at a truck stop to fix my snow-caked wipers. As i punch the gas, and drift up to speed (bad idea but soo fun) i start to merge into the slow lane. By now i'm going close to 50mph, down-hill, and i cant merge left because of other cars. The wind from the blizzard lets up, and i see a f*********g mini van stopped in the slow lane with no hazard lights on! I still cant merge left and to the right there is a 3 foot bank of snow from the plow. I slam the brakes as im about 300 feet away. After the ABS fights for about 290 feet to slow me down, and nothing happens, i decide to turn the front of the car to the right and rage through the 3feet of snow the plow created. Seriously, im probablly 10 feet away, still going 50mph, and i'm in total slow-motion Matrix mode. After getting my front bumper to the right of the mini-van, i throw the wheel to the left so i dont smash into the ditch, punch the gas to regain control, and drift my a6 around the mini-van with my front bumper now a mere foot or two from the passanger side of the mini van. Amazingly i drift around the interstate obstacle and im back on track as if nothing happened.
I thought to myself, "that was soooo awesome... i crapped my pants (not so awesome) but this car just saved my ***! now i just need to clean it"
If i were in any other car, i would have hit the mini van, or gone through the 3foot snow bank and careened into the ditch. I hope someone in the mini-van saw what happened...
AFter my car saved me from medical bills, increased insurance rates, and maybe lawsuit from the mini van driver, i definitly wont mind spending a few grand on repairs to keep this car goin

They are amazing in the snow. Thank god for Quattro. I love it so much. No one can keep up with me and they are so fun too. Great story. Thank God nothing happened to you, would have been pretty bad.

Ah I love the near miss stories.... It seems like most of the time when you hear people talking about how they smashed their car we audi owners get to sit there and listen thinking in our heads, "wouldn't have happened in the AUDI"

Actually I just remembered something,
I had my own near miss myself.
Had a school bus coming at me and I kinda lost it on a right turning road at around 40mph and somehow this amazingly engineered machine saved me and I regained control! Kinda stupid of me. I was so grateful.
