Avoid the A7 until they work out the bugs

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say you were unlucky enough to get a dud. Tell em keep it and give you a different A7. Its electronics are shared with several other Audis and they've proven reliable.

iPhone
FYI, for all you A7 owners, there is a documented issue with iPhones: when you plug in an iPhone and press either the Settings or Function soft buttons a 1/2 inch think horizontal bar appears across the screen.
My dealer wasn't able to fix it and since it's cosmetic they told me I would just have to put up with it until a firmware upgrade comes out.

Back in the shop for 3 more days - driver side window not closing completely. In the first 35 days I've had it for 23 and the dealer for 12 days.
I got a lot of kudos from neighbors when I bought the car but now it's the joke of the block whenever I drive up in a loaner. Or, as one neighbor put it, "apparently when you buy an Audi they also want you to sample their other models every couple of weeks."

poccsx, you need to remind your dealer of the lemon law and that you want a different A7, end of story. This cannot benefit the dealer, nor you. I know a couple of people in my community that have recently picked up an A7 and have had zero issues, you just got a bad one.

My dealer told me the same thing with the driver side window. They used a clay bar on the window but the problem persisted, ordered new weather stripping for the drivers door, that stopped the noise.
