Just purchased a 2012 Audi A7 with only 7k miles from a private seller. I test drove the vehicle for about 20 miles with no issues (I think). Now I've had the vehicle delivered and driving for the first time, I'm noticing a whining sound from the front of the vehicle as I accelerate. I don't hear it when idling, only when driving. It's actually very annoying and my wife is irritated with me about the purchase. Is it possible I missed it when I first purchased the vehicle? Any thoughts out there??

 

Have you tried looking under the hood?

 

Of course. Doesn't seem engine related. Perhaps is a wheel bearing issue.
