Does your car have a cd changer in it?

Local dealer tells me that the changer has been deleted even though the build sheet shows it.

Yes, although I haven't even loaded a CD in the 7 months I've had the car. With all the options available for music inputs, the CD Changer seems kind of useless. That's why they don't offer it anymore. The newer Prestige models just list a credit for the CD changer.

My car has a cd changer and I use it often since my cd's have been digitized. I get 8 hours per cd.

I wanted the changer, but they eliminated it in my April, 2012 build. I did get a credit, and haven't missed it much.

CD changers are going the way of the cassette deck, and the 8-track player before that.

My Q5 has a SD slot. I wanted a changer but it didn't come with it. Now I'm glad it didn't. I have a 16 Gig card in the sd slot and have lots more music to choose from than a cd changer.

I have the CD changer but never use it. Between the various media slots, the iPhone direct connect and Bluetooth, don't imagine I'll ever use the CD again, unless I am learning a new language :-)
