04 A8 Trunk Won't Lock
 

I just bought a 04 A8 and the rear trunk won't lock after one day of use. I left it at an Audi dealer where it sat for 5 days without being looked at. I brought it home today and was hoping it is an easy fix. Please help!

Try a different Audi dealer or go to a locksmith.

It isn't ALREADY locked, is it? I mean locked, somehow, while the lid was open? Try unlocking it, then closing/locking it.

Dropped it off at a different dealer today( Willow Grove, PA). They said the lock needs replacing. Should have it fixed tomorrow. Gave me a loaner even though I didn't purchase from there. They were so much better than Cherry Hill Audi. Thanks for the help.
