How does one get updated discs for their nav system?

You have to purchase them from Navteq, or you can buy them from the dealer.

I just checked the navteq site, the updated version 10 is $199, which is much cheaper than the dealer which comes in around $350.

So i buy the disc, take the old one out, pop the new one in an thats it?

I dont have to do anything else?

Pretty much, it will prompt you to update on the MMI screen once the new cd is in there. Just select yes and wait about 10 minutes or so and you're good to go.
