I was driving back from a 300 hundred mile trip and suddenly the ESP light came on in the cluster and the car felt as if it lost some power and then it started running fine again. It then happened one other time and i pulled over and did visual check over everything and everythings seemed ok. also there was no other lights on eg ABS, Check engine etc

Has anyone ever had this problem on their D3? please any information would be greatly appreciated.....thanks

 

I guarantee its a brake light switch. It is less than $20. I had the exact same issue and problem.

 

Thanks man, I have read a few threads to leading me towards the brake light switch as well. The only thing is my brake lights are still working? what other symptoms you had? Thanks
