2000 A8 Jolts at stops
 

I own a 2000 A8 4.2 Quattro, I purchased the car with 19K miles May of 2002 from a private owner the car now has 70K miles. The car jolts when I come to a complete stop, this started about 2 months ago. I have taken it to my Audi dealership twice in the past 6 weeks and they are telling me this is normal but they can flush the transmission. I declined this solution since I have had bad experiences after a transmission been flushed. They have tested for codes but all is normal. This car has been extremely reliable and have not had a problem to date. Has anyone experienced this??

Look up the discussion in the A8 section titled something like Transmission Problem, it seems your A8 is experiencing something similar to the problems some of us have been having - a few possible remedies are discussed there.
