2001 audi tail light
 

I was just to the dealer to have my annual inspection. They said the left tail light in the trunk lid was out. I know my corner lights werent out havent really noticed the tail lights in the lid. My question is the computer didnt alert me it was out would it alert you for the trunk lid tail lights or just the corner lights.

I would only assume that the corner lights are the actual braking lights. The trunk lights are your parking lights. And your parking lights my not be linked to the computer for notification if they are out. Thats my two cents...

Try this...

Turn the headlamp switch to full on position. Then pull it out toward you until it comes to the second pull-out position.


Is the warning at at the dash now?
