2008 A8 Wiper Blade Change
 

Hi, anyone any idea how to change the wiper blades? I've done many wipers in my time but never seen anything like this! Worried about pulling or pushing too much!

Go into the MMI and put them in Service Position.
This runs them up about 1/2 way.

Pull on the tab away from the vehicle along the axis of the arm.
They tend to get a little sticky with time.

I would only add - get genuine OE ones as I have always ended up returning third party wipers for the A8 as they have not had acceptable wipe quality, been noisy, loose fitting or ugly where they fasten to the arms.

Completely agree.

Yes, sending back the cheaper ones as they skip on the return stroke and partially miss the rain sensor! Audi for some new ones...£42

If it's not too late you can pick up up at a local TPS at trade price.
I can't remember how much, but was about the same as some rubbish ones I got off ebay and sent back.
