2011 Audi a8 cruise doesn't work

I'm new here and spent some time searching for audis ACC. I bought a used 2011 a8 (had 13k miles in it). I can't get the darn cruise to work and embarrassed to bring it in locally because I didn't buy the car locally.

It says "the ACC and brake guard are unavailable." I can't even turn these options off and use the cruise. I don't think the sensors are damaged and the only thing I had installed was the escort 9500ci placed by the used car dealer I bought it from.

Any thoughts??

Thanks!

The car is under warranty, right?

Take it to the local dealer...free service they perform on your car will be reimbursed to them by Audi..they will make $$ off you, whether you pay or not.

What's to be embarrassed about?

Yep, enjoy the free service while it lasts, plenty of time later to spend your own money fixing it!

It does not matter where you purchased the car. If it's under warranty take it in.
