OK, dumb newbie question. I'm not new to cars, but new to Audi so ...
I am looking for a service manual for a 1997 Audi A8 which is my friends, but I promised I could help him work on. I have only found the really expensive Bentley's manuals and they only seem to be on CD-ROM. Is there a cheaper one out there ... more like a Chilton's or a Haynes? I would prefer an actual book rather than CD-ROM.

I haven't seen an actual book, but they prolly do exist. I have seen the CD for slightly cheaper than BP offers. Claims to be the same CD... Dunno if it is, or not. I'll post a link when I manage to track it down, again.
