A8 2.8 Quattro Sport Multifunction Sensor
 

I've had an oil leak from around the multifunction sensor on my A8 d2. The actual sensor seems to be okay, so I figure that it probably just requires a replacement o-ring, however I can't see on VAGcom if the MFS has a integral gasget or an o-ring. Any ideas? If it is an o-ring - what size it is.

The local dealer suggests that I order a new sensor from Germany (near £300)and throw it away... this on top of the pan gasket, filler gasket and £100 worth of uber-expensive Audi transmission oil.
