A8 Accessories and Mods

I recently got my A8 around two months ago. Absolutely loving it. Was wondering if anyone has done any modifications to theirs in any way, along with any accessories of that nature they've added that's worth sharing?!
Thanks!

You may want to specify which year your A8 is. Let us know what kind of ideas you may have.

I have seen lowering kits in magazines for A8 but don't know how much or how much labor is envolved.
Audio for the rear can be done anywhere these days.
Wheel changes

Those are just a few.

I've had mine for about a month and don't want to change anything!

I have a 2004 A8 w/ 37k on it currently that I purchaed last summer w/ 18k. I bought the car totally stock w/ 18" wheels w/ some crappy tires. Here are the upgrades I did:

--19" oem polished Audi wheels w/ 255/40 ZR 19 Michelin Pilot A/S+ (incl spare). Remember: this is a Quattro so all 4 tires need to match (tread/size)

--s6 day time running LED's integrated into my front bumper (it's amazing how many times I get stopped by Audi owners and the general public who ask me about my car since I added the LED's)

--integrated/wired K40 radar
--tinted all four windows w/ 20% film
--upgraded the NAV to the 2009 DVD disc

That's all my budget allows at the moment. I inquired about putting in a rear entertainment system but after my buddy (who also has an 04 a8) did it and is now experiencing electrical issues and repeated warning lights, I'm not going to do it. German cars are touchy and the wiring on these cars are complex.

Here's a link to a website I like that has some cool stuff:

That's great to hear. I was thinking about getting those tires. How do you like them? Also how much did the LED lights cost you? and the color of your car because I'm interested in tinting my car. I just already have the sunshades and don't know if its worth it with all of the scratching that goes on with the tint and rolling down the window
Thanks!

Re: tires, I love the Pilot Sport A/S. Nothing better, imho

(s6 LED's) cost 1200 installed. However, Danny (Elite Motors) did it for less for a friend of mine (also 04 A8)

Lastly, my car is silver w/ grey leather and suede/Alcantra headliner

Oh my gawhd! ANYthing but MotoDyne, PLEASE! Do a quick search on here for motodyne and you will see LOTS of people do not believe that guy and some actively HATE him. Google motodyne and you will find people who have been swindled by that guy. Personally, I do not know. Never had any dealings with him, personally or professionally. But, when THAT MANY people are callin' you a snake... Ya gotta hava slither in ya, somewhere.

MTM makes a reputable blower kit for the 4.2, so does PES-Tuning. Stop b their websites. Both are respectable companies, well-known for performance, reliability and trust-ability. If I'm going to drop 4, 5, 6-large (P&L), then I am going to go with someone everyone doesn't hate.

The MTM kit can also be ordered from the OEMPLUS.com website I linked, above.
