That's the one, black on black, Nav, Xenons. I found out behind the scene that it was a one owner, just had the TB service done, new tires, etc. The wholesaler didn't know any of that. I got it home, painted the front and rear bumpers, did front brakes and control arms. Runs and looks great. I have a garage with a lift and own another 2000 so I knew exactly what I was looking for.

I'm outside New Haven. I do work on the side if you guys need anything done. Anyone looking for a garage laptop with ETKA and Bentley for the A8 already installed? Check out my ad in the classifieds or shoot me an email - It's cheap !

I just boughtan 2003 A8L - Audi pre-qualified (bumper2bumper warranty to 100k/4yrs) , 26k one owner miles > from North Bay Imports in East Windsor, CT.

Dealt with Dave Mason, GM there- a GREAT GUY. They are the 2nd largest independent dealer buying off-lease Audis currently, they deal directly with Audi NA.

Dave and his partners were former Audi dealer execs, they have fully cert'd techs and really know their stuff... killer operation.

I live in Wakefield, MA - there is a respectable Audi tech here intown, don't know him personally but I hear good things. I'm going to make it a point to introduce myselfafter the holidays...

I don't know how much of a hike it is for you todc/md/northern va area, but there are some great lease buys up there as well. That's how I got my a8, and I've been nothing but happy w/ it.

Steezlo, how about some links or #'s to where one could FIND those off-lease Audi?

 

You guys are dealers or techs in the Boston area? I'm located in Boston and I wanted some information on a control arm (what it does and symptoms on when it is going bad). I have a 2001 A6 and wouldnt mind bringing it to someone relaible.
