A8L Wheels
I have 255/40zr/19's on my car right now. Because I am in Canada I will be buying a seperate set of snow tires and wheels.
Can I go to a 18" instead of a 19"? Not worried about the tire pressure monitors during the winter months...not worth the extra expense unless its truly needed. What do you guys/gals think? |

August is the 1st month of winter, in Canada, right? Runs through to June/July, then starts back up again?!?!? The ONLY concern, as long as you keep your rolling diameter (check here: http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html) the same, is brake clearance. If your car came from teh factory w/18" wheels, you're good. If it came w/19's, prepare to sacrifice a testicle. |
My mean machine came with 19s. I have yet hear otherwise so it looks like 19" snow tires and rims. Has another heard otherwise?
Thanks. |

I talked to Audi today. I can run 17x8 with a 43mm offset. Good news.
Thanks. |
