Default Aftermarket Battery

I 've recently replaced the A8 (D3) battery with an aftermarket. For the first couple of weeks the battery level in the MMI was always 100% full. But last few days it drop to 10% after been parked for over 1 day. The led on the front door panel stop flashing and the keyless entry stop working but using the remote to unlock the doors are fine . I can start the car easily and the MMI show 10% on the battery level . It took 15 minutes to fully charge the battery. The audi specialist (who replace the battery for me) didn't reprogramme the ecu . Could it be the ecu need to be reprogramme to accept a new battery as i don't think the battery is faulty since it can start the car without any problem. Please tell me how to reprogramme the ecu. Many thanks

Use the VW part number that matches the Ah of your battery.
Change the serial number by 1.
