Default Aftermarket Brake Bads

I have a 2007 Audi A8L and need to replace front brake pads. Could anyone suggest high quality pads. Quiet, clean and top notch stopping power. Thanks in advance for the opinions.

Well the higher quality pads will brake faster yes, but they also throw a crap ton of brake dust, and in most cases noise. Ceramics are generally quiet, and they have almost no dust, but i hate the ******* things. They increase pedal effort (increase stopping distance) the work at super high temperatures which will warp an A8 rotor in a hurry, the pads crack etc.
Honestly the pads i like the most are the stock organic lining pads, they wear out fast yes, but they offer great stopping power, moderate dust, and no squealing unless they are worn down to the bone. A stock set will generally last you 30-40k on the front pads. The rear pads are about the same or a little less because the inside pads tend to wear faster because of the electronic e brake. The e brake doesn't always retract all the way and causes about a 2% drag, which over time smokes the pad faster.

Im not as bullish on the rear pads being the stock lining because of the e brake problem, if you wanted to upgrade those to a tougher material i would be all for it.
