Audi A8 D3 interior lighting
 

Hi everyone,

I have a 2004 audi a8 and have a question on how the interior lighting works. I can go through the MMI (first software version) and change the background lighting between highway and city and some others. when set on highway the foot wells turn off, but the door led strips stay on. If it is set to city then the foot wells illuminate but the cabin lights turn on as well.

My question is this, can I use VAG to setup highway to include the foot well lights. I just really don't like having the cabin lights on at night but enjoy the soft blue glow coming from under the seats and dash.

You can easily switch off using buttons on a roof. I set my background as City and then I switch off cabin lights using switch off button on a roof. There are three buttons next to each other: switch on, switch on cabin lights when doors open and switch off. Try to use them next time, it takes only few seconds.
