Audi A8 owner - S8 pricing question
OK, I am a proud owner of a 2006 Audi A8 (swb).
I am, however, looking to purchase a 2007 S8, trading my A8 in. I don't know if I should just caugh the money up the dealer is asking now or should I wait for the D4 release....
With the D4 platform to release here, in the U.S., soon, is the price on the D3 models going to go down more significantly rather than regular depreciation? The dealer wouldn't say (what a surprise!!!!!)
Thanks for answers.

The D3 A8 yes, the S8 probably won't move at all. Of course audis almost never sell for blue book value anyways, a lot of people over pay for these vehicles because they want THAT specific car etc. Almost ALL S model cars hold their value 50% better than the A models.
For instance a 2004 S4 usually sells (as of right now) 22-24 grand.
An 2004 A8L can be had for about 18-24 grand.
The depreciation on the A8 is much higher than the S4, even knowing the S4 has literally half the technology and original price tag of the A8.
