Audi a8l 2004 rear brake pads!!

ok so i have an audi a8 with 80,000 miles rear brake pads were gone so i took the caliper off and couldnt compress them so i went online and it said to use vagcom so i do that but first i enabled the brakes than disable them with the switch to find out the capiper is sticking out all the way i cant get it back in help what do i do the car is sitting in the driveway all apart cant move it or anything!

Yes you need a vag com, the parking brake is electronic, so it has to be electronically retracted.

the promblem is i took the caliper off and extended it and the piston came out

LOL, good luck getting that back in...... Seriously, that was a bad mistake, its close to impossible to get those back in on an A8. If you can't get it back in, you may have to buy a new caliper assembly.
