Personally, I didnt think they had it in them to do a A8L stretch so nicely, in the style of the BMW L7 middle-section insert. Turned out rather well, I wonder how many orders they'll get.

In addition to this, they've stretched SUVs the Audi Q7 (I kid you not), the GL, ML and G class Mercs.

ArmorTech is a Moscow based coachbuilder, specializing in stretching and armoring exec sedans and SUVs.

I dont think there have been A8 D2 stretches, at least I havent heard/seen of any. There have been armored versions by various companies. Technology was different back then, its a lot easier for coachbuilders to work with aluminium now.

Its a shame there arent more companies like this in the US doing stretches of luxury cars and SUVs, all we have are a bunch of shady garages welding badly-fitting monster sections into Hummers and Town Cars that look like theyve been painted with cans Krylon, just disgusting
