A couple of issues with my 2007 Audi A8L
I recently bought the Vag-Com interface from Ross-Tech to try and save money for diagnostics and repairs. I'm not sure that I'm using it correctly but I'd like to explain my problems and see if I can get some help from you guys.
Problem #1.
Some of my dash lights are no longer illuminating...specifically, the lights on the esp button, rear shade, button, park assist button, and all vent ***** on the dash. Additionally, the cigarette lighter light and heated seat illumination in the back aren't lighting anymore. I took my car to Newton Audi in NJ to diagnose, they had my car for 11 DAYS....ELEVEN....and said that they still weren't able to diagnose the problem. Needless to say I'll never go there again. The Service Advisor said the tech 'thinks' it might be the instrument cluster. I bought 2 used ones....$450.00 each to find that the problem still exists! I need help with this one. Not sure how to use the VAG-COM to help diagnose this problem.

My Bluetooth stopped working. Won't see my phone anymore. Again, I'm not sure how to use VAG-COM to diagnose this problem.

My TPMS controller doesn't seem to be functioning. When I hooked up my VAG-COM, it doesn't even see the controller. The TPMS and flat tire icon stays illuminated on the instrument panel. When I go to the TPMS functions on the MMI, it says that Tire Pressure Monitoring is OFF. When I turn it on, it initially accepts the command and immediately turns itself OFF. Is the controller defective? ***This issue appeared around the same time as the Bluetooth problem.

It's definitely not the instrument cluster, and unfortunately many techs will replace parts until the problem goes away and/or your wallet is drained.
#2 - please post a complet AutoScan
My guess is it will say 77 can't be reached. They seem to be increasingly dying with age these days.
It could also be a break in the MOST loop, see my answer to #3
#3 - Please post the output of an Optical Bus Diagnostic

It's good to see the Optical diagnostic passed.
There's definitely something electrical going on here.
That dimming short to ground makes me wonder if it isn't the scenario of that other link I posted.
Check all your CAN bus connections too.
See the wiki entry for 01317.
Only one of the DTCs is older than a week.
First thing to do is clear them, and see what shows up in a scan after a couple of drive cycles.
