Default D2 drivers door not flush but locks OK. Wind noise though

Hi all....My year 2000 4.2L has developed an issue with the drivers door. It locks ok on the door latch but the door is no longer flush with the rear door (sticks out a few MM) and its creating wind noise
If you push the door from outside it will move in those few mm and then looks flush, but "pops" back out again
I noticed the black plastic on either side of the metal bar (the bit screwed to the door frame into which the door handle latch fits) has a bit of play in it, could that be the cause ?...seems an odd bit of plastic !
My motorway commutes would be more pleasant again without the "woosh" noise !!
thanks in advance

Your door "striker" may have loosen up. Might want to try this adjustment...trial and error till it looks (sounds) right.

Note: They are not torx bolts (6 point)...they are "triple-squares" (12 point)....is on my '01, anyway.
