D3 instrument cluster faulty -repairable?

4 Attachment(s)
I bought the instrument cluster from a junk yard which had an Audi that has been in an accident. I bought the instrument cluster and the other components needed because I want to have the adaptive cruise control. Everything is installed and the distance Control Module gives me one fault. To check the instrument cluster for DTC.

After I installed the cluster I took it to the dealer to remove the Component Protection. That worked well. The cluster works as in it displays the speed, the lightning works. If I do the output test on the cluster sometimes the last test shows the red arrows that would show at what speed the cruise is set to around the speedo and sometimes it does not. Also, it doesn't display in how many miles the next service is due. I know the other cluster did display that.

This is the code I got once and I could not get into the cluster at all till I removed the positive from the battery for a while.

I assume that 2008.10.02 was the date of the accident.

Now, I have the original cluster and I'm wondering if there is such thing as removing the module out of the original one and install it in this one and recode the module for this cluster. Or, is it repairable?
