Different colors on in-Laid Woodgrain Panels
 

Just bought a 04 A8 and have noticed that the in-laid woodgrain panels on the side doors are a darker color than the dash and console area. Was at an Audi dealer today and the 06's have the same color through out. Is this unsual for an 04 or did they make them this way?

We have an 04 also with the same problem.....just in reverse of yours. Bought it used so I don't know if it was always that way or if something has faded. I'm going to try and get a warranty responce through a dealership. I will keep you posted on my progress...or if you come up wit anythig let me know.

this must be a common occurance, I got my 04 a8l on 01/31/07 and my trim by the pass airbag, and the trim on the driver door are completely different then the rest of the car, must have been built on a monday..
