Hi new member here, has anybody changed a speed sensor (dtc322) and where is it located? problem seems to be temp. related as car will start fine when cold or just cool, car is a 2000 a8l 4,2 153,500 mi thanks for any help given Jim

 

I found the crank position sensor on the a8 4.2 engine on the bell housing left side of the engine, uses the flywheel for reference remove left front wheel for ease of access, total time once I found out where sensor was located about 1 hour and $90.00 in parts if it would help others I can post pictures of location of sensor and connection location.
