How to replace OnStar
You all have been great, I love this forum. As some of you may have guessed I've only owned my 04 A8 for about 8 months - and I left it in the garage most of the winter, so I'm full of question (I just discovered the seat masage on a trip from Denver to Tyler, TX andI really love this car). Here's another; I guess OnStar is no longer supporting analog service so it's going away in Januaryand I loose my hads free phone as well.
I don't want to spend a zillion bucks as I'll just use my cell if it comes to that, but bluetooth would be nice as I really like the hands free feature. Is a conversion hard to do? Should I takeit back to my dealer orCar Toys, or some such place for pricing? I have T-Mobil service with a Motorola Razor phone, does that make a difference?
