Immobilizer Programming Tool
 

Before I can start my DIY on the remote start I need to get my Valet key reprogrammed to the ECU. The previous owner had bought a second key/FOB and the dealer did not program the valet key with the other 2. I know I can go to the dealership and pay $120 to get all 3 programmed, but instead I would like to take that money and put it toward a tool that will allow me to do it myself. Ross Tech’s Vag Com will do it but you need the secret pin that you can’t get from the dealers anymore… I guess what I don’t have it either. There are a few CAN tools that I have found online cheap that seem to be able to read the secret code and do a few other things that I was not to happy to read about. Anyone have any advice?

Not gonna happen, its more than a secret pin. Either a VAS tool or VAG COM has to be hooked up to the internet via ethernet cable in conjunction with the secret pin. It then gets sent over to germany, if the data checks out and all the numbers match the go ahead procedure will be sent back thru the cable, and each key can be programmed one by one. Its impossible to code immobilizer without the dealership. You CAN however program the fobs yourself.
