Iphone compatible??
 

Has anyone purchased a new Apple Iphone and used in in the A8? I have a 2005 A8 with bluetooth. My current phone connects without any problems so I'm a bit hesitant to spend the money on something that may not work. If youhave had it connect, does it offer the same features such as Missed calls, Dialed calles and phonebook options that are found in the motorolas? If you have had success which model year car is it? Thanks for the help.

its crap actually ( not blue-tooth compatibility ) and I think this was deliberate for cost reasons and the battery well that sucks, I give it a -10

What's crap? The iPhone? You're nuts (and wrong). Bluetooth pairing a snap in my 04 with Motorola BTUM. Battery life is fantastic for what that phone does.

You can pair I-phone very easy with A8 bluetooth. The only problem is that car phone can not read your contacts from the I-phone but only from the SIM card. Unfortunatlly I-phone can not copy contacts to the SIM. I had to use (on 05-A8)different phone to copy my contacts to the SIM card and then import them directory to MMI phone. Now it works fine.
