Looking at A8L 2006---
 

Hi, we are looking at trading our 2005 A6 4.2 and going with a A8L 2006 or newer, is there anything we should be on the look out for or any years pron to more problems than others ?

Our 12 year old daughter is alrady 5'5" and complaining about the space in the rear (I guess she gets the height from me 6'8")

I am sure this car will have a timing chain instead of a belt. It seems to be the same motor as our A6. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated, Thanks

2006 A8's still had the timing belt.
2007 A8's with the FSI engine were the first A8's with a chain instead of a belt.
