Major coolant leak/coolant level low error. Safe to drive home?

On my way to work this morning I got the coolant low error on my dash, and noticed my temp gauge was sitting all the way left to the cold side. Once I got to work I also noticed the radiator fan was running. Upon checking the coolant, it was below the MIN level. So, I filled with water, turned on the car, and still got the coolant low error. Probably because it leaked all over the cement under my car :(

My question is....is it safe to drive home 12.6 miles? Not all of the coolant leaks out, but it does go about 3-4 cm under the MIN level. Temps outside are about 64 degrees, so not super hot.

Take a jug of water with you just in case. put it in the trunk. Check the coolant level every 6 or so miles to be safe. Watch the temp gauge. You should be fine
