NOW I am confused ok staggered rims F- 20 X 9.0 R- 20 X 10 same size tire 255/35/20

if that is the staggered difference makes back wider / front taller. AWD makes rotation

Front to Back So, this makes a strain on ? as AWD is equal I know the rotation (number of times the wheel goes around) will be off but that is true even with the 245

Exactly... but 235/38/20's would be almost perfect for the fronts, if they existed....bringing us back to the only correct option:
You don't put staggered rims on an AWD engineered for 4 equal corners.

You can do it on the TT Q 00-06 as it is typically a front wheel drive 80/20

but when a Haldex controller is on should buy blue as it releases when braking...

Well actually you can, i just thought it was funny he is running a staggered set up not even knowing what he's doing. Folks run wider wheels on the back of A4's all the time, it looks silly, but the torsen diff seems like it can handle it. The diameter of the wheel plays a bigger factor rather than the width (yes i know wider tires with the same height numbers are taller) but it isn't enough to cause axle wrap.

That doesn't change the fact that i think its stupid on an AWD car.

Well, by "don't", I meant "shouldn't" or "why the hell would you?"

We are in complete agreement.

Wait, you're not saying I can get 38 series tires, are you ?!
