NEED parts breakdown for D2

I had a ling to Vag Cats but it no longer works.

Anyone have a link to a parts catalog?

I've counted on the Vagcat link for a while. They won't even respond to questions about the catalog being disabled.

I've considered ordering this, but haven't yet:

Aah... Another tool for the toolbox, as it were.

But the price seems way too low for an actual Electronic Parts Catalog. Not that I'm asking to pay more! It just seems really low...

Thanks for the link, silverd2!

I thought so too...but was given the link by a credible member on another forum who says it's the real thing(?)

That looks awesome! If the Bentley manual people were honest they'd include that in their product, especially given the price of it and the price they charge.

ETKA is the real deal, if its the real ETKA.... ETKA is what the DEALER'S parts service uses. I wasn't aware audi would release that software.
I know audi would NEVER release the true ELSA WEB to anyone though. If someone got access to that site you would have access to the repair manuals of every car audi ever made and the engineering schematics.

looks good.

You think Audiforums would purchase it and put it on-line. Think of all the traffic it would stir up:D

That would be pretty cool. ...BUT, probably a little copyright infringement, too:(

I would buy it just to (hopefully) have better pictures than some of the crappy unclear diagrams in the Bentley manual.

I have a bunch of pictures in my photo bucket from Elsa web, i did my cam tensioner DIY from diagrams off ELSA web. However i remember an engineer saying that it costs each dealer around $10,000 per year just to access it, pretty steep price tag. Its probably even more now since they added a few new models since i left. The security to that web site is like fort knox too.
