New owner of an 2004 Audi A8 and I am in heaven! 34, 000 miles and a great deal, perfect condition! So now I'm wondering what do I do next as a new owner to upgrade or enhance my "USS Enterprise". I do need a little cosmetic work done on the rear bumper. It seems that someone "tapped" the rear and left that little annoying license plate bolt imprint for all to see. Thanks and I look forward to a long lasting relationship.

The absoulte BEST thing you can do, RIGHT NOW, is set up a savings account, to pay fr majr repairs, when they come up (and, THEY WILL), in teh future. Drop $50.00-$100.00/month in there and you're SET! Or, you will be, when they come up<---smiley face, but, I'm SERIOUS!

As far as what to do from here? Well, that depends on what your focus is. You can chip both the tranny & the motor, and squeeze a mpg, or 2, and maybe a second, or 2 in your 1/4 mile time. Other than that, the 8's pretty much complete. If you want better handling I'd say buy an S4, or, you can try a full set of coil-overs (I can't recommend a brand, since I can't afford any, YET!!!), but, at 2-tons, it ain't exactly agile...

thanks for the input...I tend to take it easy for awhile. The car seems to be taking care of itself, although, when I have my finance' in the car, she complains that the car seems to be jumpy off the start. Almost as though it's looking for a fight! I love the car and will take the advice of putting in 50 to 100 dollars a month into an audi account for any possible inconvient outcomes. I did, though buy the audi extended service contract, so I feel pretty good about that until 100, 000 miles. Thanks for the love!
