Hello all,

Im a proud owner of a 2004 Audi A8 L in Brilliant Black.
It such a beautiful car and I love it.
I have read about the problems the 04s had but the car was in excellent condition except for a few minor things that can be taken care of.

The car is a one owner car. I bought it with 65k miles and I bought a 135k mile warranty that can be used at any repair sh0p or dealership so I'm sure Ill be using it. The Interior is excellent, the body is cosmetically immaculate and the engine sounds and looks great.

just had some questions about thing I noticed...


The first thing I noticed was that it seems to have a hard shift in low gears from 1st to 2nd and sometimes 2nd to 3rd. At higher speeds shifting is very smooth. I'm not sure if its a real problem or not. Iv never owned a V8.
has anyone heard what might cause this or have any experience?

there is also a ping/ting noise coming from the drivers side wheel area. It sound like a heat shield or something catching somewhere when I turn the wheel to the left. Anyone had this problem? i dont think its anything big but its annoying and I plan to take it in to get it taken care of soon. just wondering if this has been seen before.

it doesn't say 04 Audi A8 but the part number matches sirius modules compatible with 04 A8s, right? will this work?

With the trans issue, I'd go with the Audizine post info.
