Sorry if this is a stupid question but can anyone explain the difference between the GSM mobile phone preparation (which includes BT interface) and the Bluetooth Mobile Phone Connection?
Do both work through the MMI?
Cheers

GSM is a wireless communication standard that certain cellular providers use for transmitting calls back and forth between cellphones and transmission towers. Bluetooth is a short range wireless communication standard used between other bluetooth devices to communicate wirelessly (under 10 meters). If your car stereo is bluetooth ready, and if you have a compatible bluetooth phone, you can use your radio to recieve and make calls. The stereo should alert you either audibly or visually and usually mute the stereo allowing you to communicate with the caller on the other end.
I hope this helps.
